I was doing a an art show once, and they tweeted back to me “good luck”
I felt really good about that, I mean I remember a few years ago I used to listen to one of their records on repeat because every song just spoke to me, and I felt really connected, inspired, and moved down deep in my bones. I gave that record a rest, and then one day out of the blue I put it on and it sent chills through me.
One day a couple weeks ago I saw they tweeted something that caught my eye, and it said something about “music, inspiration, art and something perverted” so of course I tweeted at it, 10 mins later some guy asked to look at my art work, not knowing who it is, I asked if he was kidding, so I showed him my art work.
An hour passes, I tweet him asking him, if he gets a chance to let me know what he thinks cause it would be greatly appreciated.
30 mins pass, curious as to who he is, I read his “about me section” and it’s the guitarist from Circa Survive.
Needless to say I was very happy that he was even the slightest bit interested in seeing my art, and then very sad that he didnt let me know what he thought.
